Pictures Hung — GT5 34H5 — how?

Have you “installed” pictures or other items on the empty walls in your Georgetown? Do you have suggestions on what product to use and any weight limits on the items? Obviously, slide-out space limitations must be considered. I’ve also searched a bit for small cell phone or iPad “holders” that could be mounted adjacent to the USB port in the bedroom. Most of those use that stick-but-can-be-removed tape (sorry, but don’t recall the name). Sharing your experiences is greatly appreciated. Thanks - Carol

I have only used Command Strips to hang pictures or any hardware in my 34H5. they come in different sizes depending on weight of item you are hanging. Command strips work great. the only item I mounted with screws was the toilet paper holder for 1/2 bath.

Command steps work great for most items. If I need something to hang that is heavy and permanent I use wall anchors for hollow core doors. I use a cordless screw driver to put them in. No need to drill a hole first. They are flush mount.

We had canvas prints made at Walmart and installed them with heavy duty double sided Velcro. Thousands of miles and no movement.

It's very strong and can be removed if you're careful. I've hung pictures, clocks and weather stations with it. It's the same stuff that comes with your EasyPass.

I wish someone carried black Command Strips in a store. All I've ever see are the white ones and those don't go well with the wood colors we have.

3M makes black Command hooks in a wide variety of sizes and finishes including shiny and matte.

For organizing we purchased from this folks. The wall nets of various sizes and colors are working well for us. The small screws that is supplied Holden well in the thin walls. None have come loose.

For pictures, wall clocks, paper towel,holders we use the white industrial strength Velcro. The one with very course grabbers. We purchased rolls from Lowes.

For clothes hangers and such, we use the command strips with our hooks.

Wow!! These responses are fabulous—exactly what is needed!! Thank you all so much for the replies. We are heading out for our first trip in our new GT5 34H5...nervous, for sure, but excited—only 3 nights. I’ll be able to use this info when we return to add some home touches (and conveniences) to our GT.
