Play DVD without key in ignition

First couple times we took the rv out, we were able to use the DVD player in our front console to play movies without having the key turned in the ignition. Now I have to turn the key to get the console on. 2017 Georgetown 5 36b, it's a pioneer console. Thoughts?

Wait....there's a DVD player in the front console? Is it hooked to all the TV's? We just discovered, another RVer had to tell us, about the "booster" that makes your cable clear. Our experience with watching cable, on the first three trips, was AWFUL! LOL. We're newbies to the RV world!

my georgetown xl has a switch under the radio to select power from engine or house battery. when switched to engine, the radio is only on when the engine is running or ignition switch to acc. the other will operate radio from house battery.

The “booster” is to be used only with the antenna setting. Should be off when using the cable setting.

Can't watch cable without it. We are talking about the one that is above the center console, not the one on the roof. I think I used the wrong word, it's just a switch, not Booster. The one on the roof is the booster, correct?

Did you have the radio switch on under the receiver?

based on your picture, the 1st switch on the left side of your console will turn the head unit on without the ignition switch being on.

Thanks guys. Will try it out when we get it back from the dealer. Dropped it off as soon as we got back for some more warranty work.

If that switch doesn't do it, the fuse that powers that circuit may have blown. It is located in the Battery Control Circuit box usually located under the inside steps.
