Power assist brakes on 2010 GT 378TS

It appears (sounds like) the power assist for my brakes (2020 GT 378TS) is not working. Generally I hear a "whirring" sound when pressure is applied to the brake pedal. I don't hear it now.

Is there a fuse that is possibly blown; or is it a problem with the brakes themselves.

Maybe someone who has access to their motorhome can check this out for me.........ours is 2 hours away at the dealer for repairs.

If I recall correctly, even WITHOUT the key in the ignition, if you press down on the brake pedal, you should hear an electronic/hydraulic sound along with an increase in resistance pressure felt on the brake pedal.

As I said, I can't verify this with my own unit, but maybe someone out there can?

If there is any kind of electrical circuit with a fuse, you may even hear it without the keys in. Don't know if this will help or not.

KENANDTERRY, you are correct even without the key on you can hear and feel the pressure on the pedal. If there is a fuse it would be in the hood area fuse box.

According to my 2008 F53 Owners Guide the power distribution box located in the engine compartment fuse position # 1 is associated with the brake system.

My owners guide is for a 2008 model. If you do not have a owners guide you can down load one at number of sites including fords. By the way I have assumed that instrument cluster warning lamps are functioning correctly.

If not there are two fuses located in the passenger compartment that are associated with the power brakes. fuse positions #10 & 14

Again I must emphasize that this information is based on a 2008 Owners Guide.
