Power from generator

I have a 2014 Georgetown 328 TS and I have the generator going. There is power to the fridge and microwave but no power to the TV's and plug ins. The breakers are turned on in the generator. The breakers inside are also on. I am missing something. This motor home is new to me and I don't know where to look for the switch I am missing.

Two things come to mind.
1. Turn off all 120 volt breakers and turn them back on.

2. Go to the generator and make sure both 30 amp breakers are turned on.
Turn them off then on again.

The only common thing is the transfer switch between shore power and generator power.

If you still have no power to the MH then you need a professional check it out at the transfer box where the main plug in cable is located and check the connections behind the main electrical panel.

Let us know.

Do you have power to all your appliances when plugged in to shore power?

He has 120v power to the fridge and micro, I think the lights are 12v not 120v.
I am not sure if the lights should work with the battery disconnected even when plugged in.
It could be an inverter problem.
No way to tell for sure till OP post back.

Sound like some 110 volt circuits are live, but not all. HMMMM>

Question to OP. Are the light working?

Well plug in even if you use an adapter for a standard 110vac outlet from your house. That will give you enough power to test lights, TVs etc to rule out a problem with your breaker panel. If they still don't work its not a generator problem.

Look to see if there is a GFCI that may have tripped.

That happened to me when I took the MH off shore power and did not put the plug into the receptacle where the power cord is stored.

I turned all breakers on and off. I can hear the automatic transfer switch working. I plugged into the house and everything works. When I disconnect and use the generator only the fridge and microwave have power.

I found that with the Generac genny I had to hold the start switch on for an additional 3 or 4 seconds to energise the field of the genny. IT WORKS EVERY TIME. Good Luck.

Problem must be the generator or its connections to the transfer panel.
