Power Front Shade

Morning, Folks. Got a power front shade that has stopped working. Will not go up, down or move at all. I found the little push button switch above the driver's side front window but I don't know the procedure for the reprogramming of the shade. Anybody had any success in making this thing work after it stops working? Who is the manufactor?

Thanks, in advance.....

Email Mike Burns at FR. He should be able to help you or at least point you in the right direction to someone who can!

Lostdog, did you get an answer to your problem? I have power front shade on 2011 360, mine still works good, except too much hanging down, in up position. Where is this button you found on drivers side? I have a toggle switch on dash to left of steering wheel that controls my shade.

Yup...got it fixed. If you start digging around the left hand side, top, of the windshield where the shade roller is located you should find a small cable with a button on the end. Push this button while pushing the button on the dash and release the little button when the shade is at the spot you want it to stop. Do it again with your engine running to set it part way down so it works as a "sun visor". Hope this helps.

Thanks Lostdog, I am glad to get this info, would have felt dumb to take it back to dealer for something I can do. My shade hangs just low enough to cover 2/3rds of my windshield fans, and need to adjust up couple inches. Thanks again for the prompt response.

Thanks from me too Lostdog. My shade does not come down far enough when we are driving into the sun. Is the cable obvious?

I attempted to reset the stopping position of my sunshade. I must have done something wrong as now I can not get it to lift up. It's current range only allows it to move up and down only a couple of inches just above the dash.

Any ideas?

I searched the net and found the manual for shades. It details all the steps necessary to program the shades limits. I followed the instructions and now the shade stops where I want it to. I can now look forward as I drive into the sun without squinting.

The link to the manufacturers pdf of the manual is,

ATABOY Lostdog

How did we ever make it without the internet?
Ours needs to go a couple of “’s lower while driving and ?”’s higher while parked.

Thanks
