Power Patio Awning

Hi Everyone - has anyone had problems with their power patio awning? Today let out the Dometic AE power awning and everything seemed fine However tonight when I brought it in it was barely moving - very slow which is not normal. Any ideas what the problem could be. Battery says it is fully charged so should come in with not problems. Little concerned about putting it out again especiallly if i need to bring it in quickly. We have a 2010 33 TS Georgetown. Has only been used about 7 months. Suggestions etc. appreciated. Thanks

Had exactly the same problem with our AE power awning.....BTW our MH is alsoa 2010 330TS model, but I don't think it matters.

Our MH was still under warranty when I reported the problem and the motor was replaced under warranty.......however, there is a trick to replacing the motor because of the tension setting of the roller mechanism. Make sure to have it done by some professionals. BTW.......the awning motor is inside the awning roller itself out at the end.

Thanks for the reply. We took the motorhome in today to a dealer and they checked to motor. It needs to be replaced. It is still under warranty and will be replaced next week.
