Unhappy problems with w/heater 110

Hi; I have a 2002 FR Class A that I bought it used and did not get the manuals or any help with what is what. With that being said I need some real bad help. I can not find the breaker to shut off the 110 to the Hot water tank. The only way is to unhook the shore power. None of the breakers are marked to were they go and what the operate. Any help with this mater would be appreciate.
Thank You

Well lets hope you get some real good help!

There should be a switch located inside or outside the camper that controls the 110 VAC power. Make sure it is off.

The breaker should be located in your breaker panel with your other circuit breakers.

It takes too long to see if the right breaker was opened by standing by. The next best way is to remove the round black cover to the left of the gas burner and anode opening. With power off remove three small screws and take off the cover. Put shore power back on and measure the ac voltage across the two screw terminals. You may have to run some hot water to get it to turn on. Once you have it on have someone open one breaker at a time until the voltage fails. You got it. Now mark all of them as you determine what they are for. My wtr heater is 20 amp but most are 15.

On my 2005 Georgetown, the H/W breaker is 15A and is the leftmost breaker when looking at the panel. My panel in on the front side of the bed support box.

Also, Herk's photo shows where the switch on the water heater is located. When winterizing, be sure to turn this OFF and put the cotter key in place to keep it off...

Hope this helps.

Bill
