Pulling Jensen DV2011

I need to pull this out of my Georgetown 351. Has anyone pulled the OEM unit out? Did you us the DIN sleeve removal tools?

Thanks.

Mine is a different model but the 'only' way to get it out was with the tools.

Thanks.

I have unscrewed the entire panel that Jensen unit is mounted in. Very easy to do and you can bend the tabs from behind to remove din carriage and unit if you are replacing with another new unit. They usually come with a new specific din mount anyway.

Our jenson has an auxiliary input on the face which is what I use. 1/8" jack. Think it's aux #2 on source.

Aux #2 is on the front. Aux #1 is on the back with RCA jacks. Hoping that the hum I am getting using an 1/8th on Aux #2 will be eliminated by using the RCA connectors.

Thanks GABoy

We need to remove our unit to change the fuse!! How do you get this damn thing out? Where can you get the DIN sleeve removal tool? I do not want to have to remove the WHOLE housing.

My tool was in a plastic bag with documentation that came with the rig.
Have you looked in there?

dan-nickie -- yes looked there ...nothing. Much of the stuff in our rig did not come with a manual.. Had to look it up on line.
