Radio button?

What does that big Radio button do that's on the dash next to the Dash Fans? Radio seems to stay on even when I push the button and the light goes off.

lvnlife1973, that button allows the radio to be played off the house batteries rather than the engine battery. That way, when you are parked with the engine shut off, your radio draws power from your house batteries and not run down your engine battery.

Awesome! Thanks! So is it using house batteries when the light is off or on?

House batteries when the light is on. Easy way to tell is turn the radio on when the ignition is on, then shut the ignition off. If the radio still plays, you are on house batteries. Push the button the other way, the radio should turn off.

Thanks for the info on that radio button! I was wondering about it too! This is the kind of info that is sooo helpful! I would have thought the dealer would have told me that on my walkthrough. Heck, I just found out I had "night shades" on my windows half way through my last trip. Until I reached up and pulled down on the little plastic lip at the top of the "day" shade, all I had was either clear glass, or a "sheer".
