Several years ago I traveled to Tampa Fl to view a Class A motorhome. It was a bait and switch! I vowed to never buy from that dealer. I eventually purchased from an individual.

Fast forward several years.......last month I purchased a new TT from RVD. This was after an exhaustive 8 month search! I cannot say enough about their professionalism and price. I saved approximately 15-20 percent over the best deal. I would not hesitate to purchase from RVD.

Interesting thread. We just contracted with RV Direct (internet) to purchase a Georgetown. We discussed the various parts of the business and differences between the internet sales department and the various linked dealerships. The price we were quoted was significantly less than our local dealer ($5K), but we didn't price with RV Direct dealerships. The price quoted was about 31% below list. We'll let you know later about the add-ons we'll want the physical dealership to do before we pick-up. We have always been treated with the utmost kindness and respect on the phone and in e-mail. If we had to make any sort of complaint it would be that calls and e-mails are not always returned as promptly as we would like.

Tom and Katie,

I am very curious to see how your experience progresses. Good luck with your Georgetown. Keep us in the loop; good and bad.

I screwed-up! My recent purchase was RVW not RVD! But Tampa was Tampa.
