Re-situating the sewer

We have a 328TS and the sewer pipe seems to hang down quite low. Is it possible to have the sewer raised up a bit? Has anyone ever had this modification done before? I would imagine it needs to be done at a RV repair place.

Yes, I hit a tire tread on the highway and ripped the drain line apart. I repaired and moved the drain up into the bay. I use a clear extender and elbow when I dump. It works well and the clear lets me see when the flush is done. It did require cutting a new hole for the drain.

I shortened my plumbing so it would be inside the compartment.

Where did you buy the parts to do this? I have been trying to find them online and perhaps just not using the right search parameters. Looking for the sewer pipe termination end with the bayonet lugs but can't seem to find one that is part of longer pipe, just an adapter. But frankly, I'm not looking at my rig, so perhaps that is all it comes with.

I will try and get a picture posted. But I picked up a new sewer connection at a local RV dealer. I put in a removable access door to keep the compartment clean, that I bought at a boat marine store.

Mine looks just like hasbunch's. Picked up parts at a local rv dealer. I had to replace valves and other parts. This is easer to hook up because I can see what i am doing without putting a knee on the ground!

I like that my sewer pipe is outside and not in with the water hookup.
I have a piece of foam that I put on the ground to kneel on when I hookup the sewer line.

One more question: what did you use to cut the PVC pipe? Doing research on PVC cutters and they are rather expensive if you go with the larger diameter types. Just wondering what you used. Thanks.

You can use a hacksaw or a reciprocating saw to cut the PVC piping. The PVC cutters will probably give you the straightest and cleanest cut though. But, i've used a hacksaw and reciprocating saw myself on other projects to cut PVC.
