Rear Slide problem

Our rear slide opens ok.

But when it's time to close it moves a few inches and stops the pump sound doesn't change.

Then if I operate the close button a few seconds then hit the open button it will close a about a foot.
I have to do this 3 times to get it closed.

Any hope for a DIY repair or is headed for the dealer?

Thanks
ab&jb

Are the slides on your MH hydraulic or cable driven?

Both hydraulic, the front (driver side) works fine.

Mine are cable so the only suggestions I can offer are probably the obvious things you have already tried.
Is the MH plugged in so you are not using battery power?
Fluid level OK?
Since the other slide works fine is there some part of the slide that needs cleaning and or lubricant?

Sorry that's all I can think of. Hopefully someone here that has more experience with the hydraulic slides can offer some better advice

What was the solution?
Was it low fluid in the tank?

We had to come home early.
We're selling our house so I haven't had time to do anything.
The fluid looks ok just looking under, I haven't really checked it.

I'll update in a few weeks when things calm down.

THANKS

I'll try that the next time I get to work on it.
We open and close the rear first, with the jacks deployed.

Thanks
