Recall on Rear Safety Window

So we just got a recall notice that our rear safety window in our 2015 Georgetown 369XL is not an egress window, but rather a vented window. It says safety window on the inside but obviously we haven't tried it or we would have noticed that it was only vented. (We keep meaning to try it - but it just seems so difficult!)
Seriously? We are just about to pull out - waiting for our dealership to handle this would take months. We are going to be at the Goshen rally - do any of you think they would replace it there?
Frustrating!!

You should be able to get ANYTHING taken care of at Goshen. After the repairs they pulled on my TT last year, I am confident that ANYTHING is possible.
I do not believe anyone, other than a child, is ever going to get out that emergency exit window anyway!
Go on your trip and enjoy.

Goshen Rally:
Yes Safety related issues get taken care of first before any cosmetic stuff.
You should send in your maintenance form to FROG Bob and put it on the top of the list.

Well we just tried it and it opened as it should - from the top hinge outwards. Granted it is pretty small still ;-) Maybe they can clear the recall from our MH if nothing else.

We just received the recall notice on our 2016 Georgetown 369XL today. It's hard to believe it took a year to find this issue.

I agree with that. I will let you know what I find out. Maybe they will replace the entire window with an egress window? Right now only the left side is vented with a screen. I was looking at other Georgetowns at a rally recently and they have much larger egress windows.
