We took a trip to Camping World in Chattanooga and I got quotes up there. $3300 out the door. I'm going to do the buying myself like you folks did. I'm sure I can do better. CW gave me the estimate with the parts list and install charges. I'll post it as soon as I can get time.

I also use a ReadyBrake to pull a four door Jeep Wrangler. Also used it to pull my previous 2 door Jeep. Never a problem and easy to install and use.

I think you can get installation instructions for any baseplate install off the Remco website. Pictures and all.

I also use the NSA Readybrake tow bar for my Jeep. The tow bar with built-in surge brake was $1000, and a Blue Ox base base plate was $357. The Readybrake tow bar has different end brackets available for Blue Ox, Demco, and Road Master base plates, so you can choose the brand of base plate that is best for your vehicle.

The base plate installation, brake cable connection, and tail light wiring took several hours, but was not very difficult. I had never installed one before, so I took my time and repeatedly checked the instructions and videos.

Shop around for the best pricing. I found that RV parts suppliers are sometimes cheaper on Ebay than their own websites. The NSA website shows the suggested retail prices.

If you can get to him, go to David at Drive Shaft King in Dallas. All parts and excellent installation for $1400. Highly recommend.
