Remote control for Furnace/Air Conditioner

In our Georgetown we have 2 Carrier A.C. units and the standard furnace but they are both controlled by a remote unit with the Carrier logo on it.

The selector shows mode selection for Furnace/Cool/Dry/Fan.

Anyone have the same unit that can explain what "Dry" means and how it works?

BTW..........Happy New Year all, while Snowbirding in Florida!

The "Dry" function works similar to a dehumidifier, it gets rid of humidity but does not offer any heating or cooling.

Lucky you in Florida, I'm jealous, lol we can't make it down there this year.
Have fun in the sun, it's freezing up here today.
