removing drawers

I can't find where the water filter goes. I suspect it is in the same area under the sink where the water heater bypass is, but I can't figure out how to remove the drawers to check. I don't see any release latch on the drawer slides.

Each of the drawerslides has a small black "finger" about 1" long which you can see when you fully extend the slides. One finger will move up and the other will move down. You can do this with your own fingers as you pull out the drawer. When you reinstall it is not necessary to touch them.

Ours is under the entertainment center, near the shower, look for a door that does not open. Take the screws out and it may be behind there. My water pump is there too.

No black fingers on my drawers. The water pump on my unit is accessible from the outside via a round access panel. No filter in there.

My drawer release is under the drawer in the center.
Look hard in this area. You can't see it until the drawer
is pulled out to the stop.

Found it, thanks, Brian. The filter itself is still in the fridge. I can see the bypass valve under the sink, but I still can't get to it.

The black fingers I was referring to are about 1" long and about 3/16" wide and are located on the drawer slides themselves. Look in the center area of the slide. They are generally only visible when the slides are at full extension. Because the slides are same left and right one of the fingers needs to be pushed down and the other one up. All the drawers on our new Georgetown use this type of slide and I have removed drawers using this method. If you need I will try to take a picture for you.

Finally found it. Couldn't see it until I got my head way down level with the drawer and shined a flashlight on it. Thanks for all your help.
