Removing my broken microwave

Anyone know how to get my broken microwave out. There are no visible screws so I'm left scratching my head. Any help appreciated.

I have a 5r and just replaced mine after one year. Mine had screws holding the microwave and housing. I I unplugged it first. It was plugged into an outlet in the cupboard next to it. I then pulled the whole thing out then removed the microwave from the housing.
Reversed the process for installation . It took all of 20 minutes.

You might want to consider posting your Q in the Georgetown section. You would have a much higher probability of receiving a response from someone with model specific knowledge. Georgetown owners seldom go "slumming" here in the Coachmen section.

I have a Trilogy and I got mine out by opening up the false bottom in the cabinet above the microwave just enough to find the screws and making holes above the screw so I could take it out. With the carpet in the cabinet you can't see the holes.

Open cabinet above microwave, remove the false bottom of the cabinet above microwave to expose the mounting screws, need to support the bottom front of microwave as screws are removed. Once screws are out, lower front of microwave down and lift the back if microwave off the metal mounts that are attached to back wall. It's kinda awkward/ heavy , but it can be done with one person.

Funny, I have had the same question, how to remove the microwave in our 378, there is no cabinet above the unit, it is in the main slide. There is a trim strip above the micro and I have removed it only to find a solid mounted strip behind the trim. Have not yet figured out how to get to the front mounting bolts. Anyone have an idea on that. And no, removal of a micro in another model unit or travel trailer will not work. This is a georgetown 378.

Jim
The way to remove the microwave from a 378 is like this.
1. The piece of wood above the microwave is just pushed in place.
It is about 2" high and the width of the microwave.

2. You need to remove this wood by pulling it forward. It may have small staples holding it but it will remove.
I know because mine fell out while travelling and saw the microwave brackets behind it.

The two microwave brackets are screwed in by a few screws and when removed the whole microwave will pivet down. Their is a metal wall bracket that has a lip that it pivots on. Better to have 2 people doing this so it doesn't fall and damage stovetop.

Hope this helps explain how to do it.
Good Luck.
