Removing Water filter

I am in the process of winterizing my 2012 Georgetown 350DS. The water filter lives behind a panal where the access is a round hole that only one arm fits through. I can not seem to get it loosened so I can remove it. Does anyone have any ideas

Did you release the pressure from the water line?

Are you sure there is not another way to access the filter? I'm glad mine had more than one way.

Can you get an oil filter wrench in there?

This is the door the dealer showed me on my walk around. I do not find any more openings. The opening has a threaded cover that you remove. I was told then you were able to reach in and remove the filter. I can reach it without problem, but can not get it to turn. Yes the pressure is released. I can not imagine cutting another hole as you could not cover it to keep the area clean. I will go take a picture shortly

You may be able to remove the whole panel to get at it . The panel is usually held in by a few screws.

You may want to contact your dealer as you should have gotten a wrench that slips on the filter housing to unscrew.

I concur that you should be able to remove the partition for access. If your filter is same as mine, 2011 360, it would be too difficult to remove thru an access hole. The filter is designed to be removed and reattached by plastic wrench, which slides over the bottom of housing up to just above middle portion. PS my housing and filter are located at your city water connection, have you checked that location, as my water pump is located behind a partition with 5in cut outs.

true ! with the plastic wrench your dealer should have provided it would be easier to remove and install the filter . one handed may be difficult .
