Replace inner dual valve stem extensions
I was going to install crossfire dual tire equalizers on my 2011 350 and was wondering if the valve stem extensions on the inner duels require the valve stem core to be removed? I saw that it may in some extenders. Anyone have any knowledge of this? This is an XL with the 22.5 wheels.

OK, no guts, no glory, right. I took the chance and removed inner dual extensions and there were cores in the valve stems. The installation of the crossfire dual tire equalization valve and hoses took longer than anticipated but doesn't it always! I am feeling good about both duals have the same pressure and being able to just look at the indicator window and know the pressure is good!

Can you give us a little more detail on your install.
So you removed both valve extensions and installer an interlinking valve system that maintains the same psi in both tires.
What are the advantages of this system?
Which wheel mount did you use?
Did you get the 90psi setup?
Cost?
Did you have to buy anything else to complete the job on your Georgetown?
Do you have 22" or 19" ?
Any pictures?

Looking at the Crossfire Site Crossfire - Dual Dynamics it appears you can't use this with Simulators. I like my Tire Monitoring System so using this would defeat the purpose of monitoring your Tire Pressure and Heat, I would think.

Iggy, see answers below. I really like the idea of equalizing the air pressure in each tire to equalize load on tires. This system is of course does not give near the information as does a TPMS, but at a total of $100 is not near the cost either.

Both tires on the each axle end will have the exact same air pressure and therefore equalizing load on each tire. You can check tire pressure by just looking at unit, color in window will change from yellow if high or low pressure.

They send brackets that fit under the bolts on the "hub caps".

You are right you cannot use this for TPMS system on each wheel. Since there is a valve to check air pressure on the crossfire you may be able to add a TPMS external sensor for each side of the duals, but I am not sure.

Looks like by the Picture, that they are showing the installation with Simulators installed.

You can use with simulators, the bracket fits under one of the bolts that attaches the simulator. Hopefully that makes sense.

I'll stick with my TPMS which monitors all tires individually while driving and able to see the changes in temperature and psi. If a tire get a leak it will alarm quickly so you can get to the side of the road.
Any I check all my tires cold prior to any trip to insure they are properly inflated. 44,000 miles and no flats or blowouts yet.

I had a Winnebago on a workhorse chassis with 19.5 tires and ran the crossfire for about 12 years and really liked the set up. Traded for my GT on an F53 chassis last year and the set up with crossfires was a no go. Both had simulators, but the ones on the GT lacked clearance between center cap and outer edge to mount. Could be the difference between the 19.5 and 22.5 tires.

I had to change the orientation from coming straight out from the center of the wheel to parallel to the center of the wheel to get mine to fit.
