WE bought a 10"Memory Foam mattress from Overstock.com in an RV size. We love it!

X2 on the memory foam. We use them in the camper and at home. Unless your old mattress is totally shot, you will be pleased, and save a lot of $.

However, memory foam comes in a variety
of qualities and prices. Do your homework and compare density ratings as you shop. We found ours on EBAY at under $150, but our first one from a different supplier had flat spots in just a few weeks. Present one is 4 yrs old and holding up very well.

We just purchased our new KINg SIZE mattress from MATTRESS INSIDER.com VERY HELPFUL AND HAD GOOD IDEAS. CHECK THEM OUT. Our mattress came in a box put it in place as you take it out of the box. Leave it for 24 hours and you are good to go.

We use regular queen sheets - we bought a set that has the elastic all the way around the bottom sheet and it draws it in enough to fit. For the top sheet, we just tuck an extra couple inches under the foot of the bed.

Saves money usually too - the "short queen" sheets are usually expensive as well.

Happy shopping!

I just bought a full queen at Sam's Club when they were on sale for $299.
Now looking forward to the mattress wresting match to get it inside.
How to put sheets on a land locked mattress greatly appreciated.
I bought some of those elastic bands to keep the sheets tucked, hope it works.

We spun the wheel yesterday...

And ordered this:

Zinus Hybrid Spring 8 Inch RV / Camper / Trailer / Truck Mattress, Short Queen

Walmart.com, 155 bux...

It's a gamble, but it can't be any worse than what we've got now!!

3 inch memory foam topper with a quilted cover. Sleeps like the s&b. To make the bed the easy way, pull the mattress away from the wall, fit the sheets, then push it back.

If you time it right camping world puts their sleep number mattress on sale a few times a year. I opted to change mine to that product. I also went from a short queen radius to a full queen radius with no problems. Good luck.

Bought a relatively inexpensive foam mattress on Amazon and love it. More importantly ... my wife loves it.

We got the deluxe Serta something or other brick in ours too, I got a 4"memery foam mattress toper with a cooling gel layer from Amazon then took a marker to make it the same size of the King RV mattress. I used an electric knife to cut it to size and now sleep very comfortably. If I knew Sam's sold then already made to size, I'd spent the 100 plus just to avoid the hassle.

We kept our mattress and added a My Pillow Mattress Topper, also added one to our King at home. It's 3-4 inches thick and we are very happy with them.

RV mattresses are terrible. We had an extra king size memory foam mattress. I'd like to Introduce you to the "super queen" RV memory foam mattress!

The difference in a king and a queen is 15". I cut 10" out to make a 65" x 79".

Yes it fits! Yes it's amazing!Click image for larger version

I have an RPod 179 and wanted a better mattress so I went to m,y local mattress manufacture and bought a queen size to my specs as to width and length and firmness. Yes It cost me about $500 but I found it was money well spent. It is just like my bed at home. The few extra dollars were well spent in my opinion.
