Replacing Cam Lock on fuel door

Recently had abt 40 gallons of gas siphoned out of our Georgetown 360 XL. Need to replace the cam lock with a NON universal keyed cam lock.
1) any idea on dimensions/size need in replacement

Double flat 3/4 hole 3/8 long or 5/8 long with bent tail pc.

Thank you Donlock. Tried both sizes. 5/8th a bit too long and door loose/sloppy Then 3/8thnot long enough to have latch reach.
Tried 5/8thagain and I had to use the extra trim ring that was taken from another package and used with the 5/8th AND it’s a perfect fit.

Did you flip the bent tail pc over?

Nope. Didn’t t think about that.
Actually the new lock came with both a straight and bent. Off my memory the bent was a tad shorter in total length than the straight. I will have to check. The new lock doesn’t t see as robust as the Universal key 751 lock.
I will continue to explore and see if I can find one as robust as the original 751 but not keyed universal.

Go to your local locksmith get a LSDA cam lock ,ask for keyed different.

If it's a standard fuel door for GT's you do realize the door can be ripped off without special tools using one hand, right?

Locks keep honest people out. Yep the door could be pried off as could any door.
The theft took place in my storage area where there are numberous rv s There are cameras but not in my area and I made the owner and mgr. aware of the theft

Don't need locks for honest people and doesn't make any difference to dishonest people if they really want what you have.

My point is and I think it is valid, is that if something unusual was securing the fuel door then a new door and possibly surrounding trim could be the next purchase and repair that is required. Just fuel or fuel and damage?
