Replacing Linoleum

Have a 2010 Georgetown Motorhome with 3 slides. The Lino in the kitchen area next to the slide is buckling. I am told that because the slide is on rollers the only way to repair/replace it is to remove or tilt the slide at a significant cost. As well I am told that in order to remove the slide that they would need to take off the kitchen counter and they would not be responsible if it broke. Has anyone has a similar problem or have you replaced the lino. If so did you do it yourself or who did the repairs. The lino in our motorhome starts outside the bedroom and goes up to the front cab which is then carpet. Any information would be helpful. Thanks

I am not sure what type of lino you have, I know there were problems with some types cracking but yours seems a little too recent for that to be the case. If it is only buckling maybe you can inject glue and weigh it down until it sets.

If you are lucky enough to find the matching lino, there are people who can do a flawless repair by cutting out and gluing in a new section.

Finally, while the lino does run under the counters and cabinetry, I see no reason to remove cabinets to replace it. The only reason it runs under is because it is much easier to put it on before they build the interior.

Best you can do is to find a dedicated lino repair expert. DO NOT count on your dealer.
