Replacing wiper blades
I tried replacing the wiper blades on our 2012 327. It seems the hook is a little bigger then what’s available in stores. Does anyone know where to get a wiper blade that will fit the hook on the wiper arm?

I got mine at Walmart. There is a brand there that comes with adapters for different size "J" hooks.

I use Bosch Icon from Autozone. They come with the 9mm j hook adaptor. I use 28 inclh blades instead of 32

I'm going to change ours as well. Stock wipers are garbage.

Wow! how timely of a thread. I just signed on to the "Forum" intending to ask this exact same question. I went to Autozone myself last night and they told me they didn't have any blades that would fit my rig. Guess I'm heading to WalMart! Thanks Guys

Walmart also carries Rain-x wiper blades that include an adapter to fit the Georgetown arms

I found that whenever I tightened up the wiper spring then my wipers, which ever type I use, they work great.

I'm sorry but this belongs on a windshield wiper forum... Go to Autozone or Advance Auto Parts. They install them for free!

OK, but maneuvering my 38 foot motorhome around in their parking lot might be somewhat of a chore.
This thread is for Georgetown motorhomes. It's where it belongs.

How do you tighten up the springs on the arms?
Thanks

I'll take some pictures to show how to do it. Not hard but also not easy. The springs have a bracket that can be lengthened to increase the tension. A very little lengthening will increase the blade tension pushing against the windshield.
I'll have my motorhome home tomorrow or Monday.

I have seen the springs and the plate attached to the end.
I just can't figure how to push it to tighten the spring.
Looking forward to your reply
Thanks

Take the old ones to an Autozone or NAPA dealer.

I removed the spring, slid the small plate up all the way, then reattached the spring.
Blade too tight now, next week I am sliding it back half way.

Did you have to remove the arm to do this?
How hard is the arms to remove as I have never removed them.

Here is a code to get 10% off at the Wiper123 site.
The Trico 67-284 (2) would total $53.86 with free shipping and no tax.

Not sure how long this will last
