Roadmaster/Koni upgrade
well, after researching and thinking a ton about suspension/handling upgrades/improvements, and talking to my local shop owner, i ended up doing the following:
Koni shocks on all 4 corners
Roadmaster 1139-144 rear sway bar
Roadmaster 1139-148 front sway bar
i did the CHF on the front, and it certainly improved things, but i decided to go all the way with the upgrades. the whole package was not cheap, but let me tell you, the coach is not anywhere close to what it used to be from a smoothness and handling perspective. it was money well spent IMHO. i leave for my drive to oregon from CT on july 24th, and i just did not have the time to do these myself, so i paid the shop to do it. i am focused on upgrades and mods to the coach over the chassis at this point; that is better use of my time i think. the shop owner also recommended sumo springs in the rear, but they are on backorder for a month. i may get them done when i return; he feels they are well worth it.
so anyways, i paid a bunch but i got a bunch. anyone who is considering these mods and has the means to get them done will be impressed.
