Roof cleaner

The Georgetown brochure says the roof is laminated fibreglass...........I thought they were rubber, or a rubber compound.

Anyway.....what's the brand of choice when it comes to cleaning?

RV tips have indicated to rinse the sides of the RV before and rinse/wash after cleaning the roof because the residue can leave stains.

I have used Simple Green diluted on the roof. Usually wash roof then the rig. Need to wax roof soon.

I like the firberglass roof. I have had rubber on a few motorhomes and did experiance some tearing when a tree branch caught the rubber at the edge of the roof. As for as cleaning the fiberglass roof, i don't get too excited...A good rain will usually do a good enough job for me and I am getting too old to be up there on that slippery surface crawling around. I do on occaison, use a truck was and can get the roof by going up on the catwalk they use for washing the trailers.

Same here, use it a full strength on the real tough stuff which isn't too frequent. I usually start this project early in the morning or early evening so the sides stay wet until I'm down up top, then proceed to the rest of the coach.
