Sorry I'm getting back so late, I was actually at the beach with the RV. To answer your question FR stepped up and replaced my roof after the ripples in the roof finally opened up, and several hairline cracks

Have small ripples passenger side front. No issues yet but I'm keeping an eye on it.

The Beach is a nice place to be....... How long did it take before your roof actually cracked? Were you within your year warranty?

I sent my pic's in this last weekend to Bryan and have not heard back yet. Sounds good that they replaced it at no cost. It seems like it's a big problem. It seems like the roof cap is too tight to the front cap, creating pressure on the corners of the roof cap. My caulking along the roof cap and the front cap is rippling up. The caulking is so pliable that it just pushes up indicating pressure.

I have a 2014 335DS, got a leak in the bedroom in the area behind the fuse boxes about a month ago. Found that the seal on the roof between the end cap beside the trim rail had a crack in it. The water was getting in and coming down the end cap, where there is a wiring chase, water got into the wiring wrap, and worked its way into the area by the fuse panels. So it is out of warranty, and figured i would just deal with it on my own. So i bought Eternabond tape, you can get it in black, tan and white, and taped over the trim rail from the drip rail on the side up to and over the dicor on top of seam, did all 4 corners of the roof. Used black on the front, tan on the back, now i will never have to worry about water getting into the seams on the front or rear end caps again. Going to run white Eternabond tape on top of the roof, over the dicor sealant all the way across both ends. I noticed a bulge like in some of the pictures earlier in this post, if i see any cracking at all i will be covering them with Eternabond as well. If FR is going to fix this up for other owners then i would like to hear about it, might just chase after them as well myself.

DuncanM:
Read back a few posts and you will see that eyc had their roof replaced, and he has a 2009 FR unit.
I haven't heard back from Bryan (FR rep) yet. I sent my pic's in this last weekend.

Thanks Roger, please make sure that you update this post on your situation and how FR handles it.

Duncanm you will still want to watch the roof, another issue with this roof material is that it can begin cracking at the roof joist. Someone a while back posted that they had hairline cracks developing, and when I checked the original roof on my rig I found it not only had ripples, but it also had cracks developing.

I still have not heard back from Bryan at FR. I sent the e-mail/w pic's again to him. Just as a reminder of course. (wink)

How does this get repaired? Do they replace the fibreglass?
