If they are converter is producing 12 volt power, now connect battery neg cable, using a VOM ( volt ohm meter) check voltage across the battery, should be around 13.5 volts, if yes all is good. If no check fuses or get into Herks troubleshooting guide! Good luck.
Will this "quick check" work for batteries in parallel as well?

Thanks to all. Had found converter. Checked where it plugs in with trouble light ... 'shore' power getting to converter (& also checked fuses on converter and they are good).

At the moment I'm not sure 12 volt power coming out of converter (haven't had chance to test any lately).

Will try the neg. ground disconnect as suggested to see if converter outputting 12 volts. Suspect converter needs replacing, but also possible that the 'BRIT' switch (shore vs. generator vs. battery) got fried.

The .pdf manuals, comments, etc., have been helpful folks!

Hope to work on it this weekend.

Chuck

OK, thanks everyone. Long delay in work due to major car accident (me) and surgery (wife). Finally able to replace converter today, and battery seems to be charging, so hopefully the problems are behind us. Thanks for all the tips.
