RVI Brake breakaway wiring question?

Has anyone foregone putting a hole in the firewall for the breakaway wire and just run it through a window? Good idea / bad idea?
I’m a bit reluctant to drill through the firewall and there are no accessible existing grommets... plus getting a hole into the sound insulation is a pain. Thoughts?

Accessibility through the firewall of my toad was difficult too, but I did find a grommet on the floor that I was able to route the wire through. The window wouldn't be my first choice for a range of issues due to leaving the window open far enough, including weather, security and integrity of the wire. Best to do it right and clean.

Good luck. - Mark
