So it sounds like between the post today and the one 7 days earlier, some kind of news was received from Fram. What did they say / do. It looks like they decided to pony up for a new engine.

No word from fram yet. We are actually looking to trade the Georgetown in the week the motor was damaged. So we are just going to buy a new Diesel Pusher without the trade.

Oh. I'll give you $2,000. for the Georgetown. Even if Fram doesn't do anything. And also I'll come and wax your new one every year! Really.

We just need to shift the weight to Fram and the insurance company. I think you hurt yourself dealing with all of this.

doughboy, it is a little late now but I always used the Motorcraft filter on my V-10's I have 2 of them. They have a bypass feature that the others do not which allows oil pressure at start up.

Are you going with a Berkshire this time?

Well the new engine finally arrived and is being installed.
It is still in Albuquerque NM now hope to take it back home (Green Bay, WI) next week and take our belongs out. Then I think I am taking it over to Total Value RV in Elkhart and putting it on their lot For sale for the FROG rally. Just putting the schedule out there as i know a few people contact me to look at it and where it is at.

Been using Fram filters for over 40 years, never had any problems. Pick any brand of filter and somebody will have a problem with one, they everyone and their brother will say the same thing about that company

Fram has always been the lower end of filters. That is why they are cheaper. Filters are items I never skimp on.
