Sanitizing Fresh Water Tank

I am just looking for some advise on sanitizing a freshwater tank on a 2013 Georgetown. The owner's manual states that a mixture of water and liquid household bleach should be poured into the freshwater tank. My question is how do I get the solution in the freshwater tank. Usually when I fill the freshwater tank, I use a hose to either the city water hookup or the freshwater hose hookup. However, I don't know the protocol for getting the bleach solution in. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drain or empty a hose and connect it to the fresh water hose hookup. Pour the bleach in the other end of the hose and then connect it to the spigot.
The bleach will get pushed in and then the tank will get filled.

I just connect the fresh water hose to the city/water tank fill connection. Then before connecting the water hose to the water supply a pour the bleach into the hose, then connect to the water supply. You can use a funnel to if you want

You're welcome, friend.
There was another question about this earlier today (I think) and to be honest with you, I gave you another members' answer.
That's how we roll - pass on the good ideas!

Thanks for the tip - so simple - I was trying to figure that myself this last week but I think I made it too complicated in my own head!

After smelling rotten eggs in fresh water sinks I thought the holding tank needed disinfecting. I too put the bleach in the hose then hooked it up but later I discovered that the anode rod in water heater was the cause of the odor so now I replace that 2x a year. You can get them at Amazon cheaper. ( Some heaters don't have the anode rod. )
