I have a winegard satellite dish for sale in the classified section. Brand new in box, will make someone a heck of a deal.

After I got the hang of mine it now just takes minutes to get a signal "without" a meter.
I use my android and satellite finder app.

Good luck.

Not sure with direct.
Dish I'd have you covered!

The one app "satellite director" might help you with that.

Selecting the right dish for DirecTV and Dish Network - KaKu or Dish 1000

Here's the Satelite Lists for Both Dish Network [DN] & DirecTV [DTV]

I have the Winegard crank up and a portable Slimline 3 HD. I only set up the portable if we're staying more than a couple of days.

We have a HD DVR permanently assigned to the MoHo.

Kvh tracvision r6dx with dish network hdtv. Works great. Tech support is top notch. Supports both dish and direct. Inmotion and multiple receivers.

I have the wineguars tailgater I mounted on top off TT. cable ran down the side power cord right beside it. All I have to fo is get the 120v on the camper turn on the LCD 2 min every channel. I also mounted the receiver over the door way for the bedroom. I made a shelf to mount that on as well. GF loves it.

Go with the Winegard Traveller. Domes are not great.
