screen on window

howdy: I have a 2012 378,the rear bedroom gets quit warm during summer months, has anybody made a screen for this window,i know the frame of the window is aluminum so magnets are out.i can make screen frame no problem but how do I attach it,it will have to come off because of escape window latch.so aim thinking open window and put screen on and be done with it , no bugs at night.the other side windows are open all night. thanks Pete

we bought the big roll of ??foil( windshield protector) at camping world and I cut a foil screen for every window in the MH they fit right in the edges no need to attach and they really keep the heat out I take them down and put them back up when ever I want to open a window or look outside just store them behind the couch.

If you're putting the screen on the inside how about Velcro around the perimiter?

I just installed cheap levelor roller shades on the inside of our 351ds last night. Lowe's, custom trim to fit, $20 each. I'll post pics when I can.

Now those are some darn big bugs .

FYI: Our previous camper didn't have thermopane windows. In early spring/late fall I'd put reflectix held in place with Velcro on the inside of the windows at night to help retain heat and lessen condensation. I put the fuzzy side of the Velcro on the aluminum window frame. I thought the rough part might rub on the day/night shades after continued use and do some damage.
