Others had similar problems with RV furniture. Often the mfgs. will recover or replace if close to the warranty period, sounds you are. Suggest start with dealer, notify FR if needed.

Contact John Armstrong at FR and he should be able to advise you what if anything FR can do or put you in touch with the manaufacturer. If it's Williamsburg Furniture Company you'll contact Whitney Culp in the warranty dept.

jarmstrong@forestriverinc.com

wbf.service@yahoo.com

Be prepared to provide date of purchase and the information on any tag on the furniture you're having problems with.

Best of luck! Let us know how it works out.

You would think that the furniture would last more than a year.
The same thing happen to me.
I had to send pictures to forest river and then they replaced the affected
furniture,
But after the 1 year mark i was on my own.
GOOD LUCK

It is at the dealer now for that and a few other things.

I'm sure my seats are far out of warranty. And they're falling apart. But anyway here is a picture of the tag off the bottom. I'll certainly never buy anything from this company.

We also have a 2008 Georgetown we purchased used. Everything in this unit is perfect, except the fake leather garbage. The captains chairs are not as bad as the couch, and that looks like it has been through WW3. We knew that going into this purchase, so I am now trying to figure out if a cover will fit the design of the couch. So far nothing looks like it will work, so probably going to tackle it myself, as much as I don't want to. I have sewn many things, including saddle pads, draperies, and even totally recovered a recliner once, (I will not ever do that again), so I know I can do it, just really not happy about the horrible quality of the material originally used, and the company not recalling it. This is not a cheap or easy fix, and shame on them for forcing people to take care of it themselves. 20 or 30 years ago that would not have been the case.

My dealer is addressing mine with manufacturer as we write.
Hopefully they will replace both seat covers.

Maybe "Made in China" isn't as bad as we thought?
But seriously, quality is a thing of the past, and that is a sad thing.

Yes, we had this problem. We replaced the sofa with one from Discount RV Furniture here in California. The driver and passenger seats are worn some but not as bad as the sofa was. We really like the sofa we bought from Discount RV Furniture.

Just want to chime in on this one. Couldn't stand the sleeper couch that came with our rig. Way too slippery to sit and she keep sliding forward on it. She didn't like it at all, so, got rid of it! And the slippery "Euro" chair ottoman fell apart, so it's outta here, also.

Found a real leather, dark brown, two seat wall away reclining home theater unit on sale for $1300. Done deal! Hardest part was removing the junk that came with the RV. Sold the original couch and chair on Craigs List for $350 to folks that had an older fifth wheel. The new couch left enough room in the slide for a small end table and the one we found has a drawer for hanging file folders. Perfection, love it when a plan comes together.

Someday I'll take pics and see if I can post.

Just as a side note, I really don't see the reason to by RV furniture simply cause it's for an RV.

Love to see some pictures of your new setup.
How hard was it to get the new stuff into the door?

Easy to get the new in, came apart in five smaller pieces. Getting the old out was the challange. Heavy stuff. Had to remove the chrome assist handle at the door.

We have a 2009 378 and have the same problem. The recliner and esp. the couch have worn spots and look very shabby.......cheap material. Overall, hate to say it here on this forum, but have not been happy with our Georgetown.... multiple problems, from all hydraulics going out to refrigerator needing repairs to mention a few. It got to be that every time we went out in it, we held our breath hoping the next problem wouldn't be major.

We have a new 2013 350xl and I agree that the leather seats are sticky. I'm going to check to the guru beads. About the lean on the seats, prior to our purchase we had rented the same rv twice and both times, different units, the seats leaned to the right. I found myself in our new unit shifting my weight to the right, not on purpose though. My thought is that the foam cushioning is becoming compressed after many miles of use. I will consciously try to sit more left.

I am on my third set of seats, because the material will not hold up. Even had to replace the cushion covers on the sofa.
