Sewage Hose Storage

This week will be our first trip in the new Georgetown 337DS and I was wondering where do you store your Sewage Hose? I know there is a thread under general but I am more concerned with Georgetown owners.

I stow mine in a side compartment close to the hook up. All I keep in this compartment is gloves, sewer hose and my jack pads. Once I figure out how to do what most guys are doing on their 5ers and TT's with the PVD fence post I am going to try and figure out a place to do that underneath.

Try your back bumper. There should be removable plastic caps on each end that remove. Keeps the yuck out of the storage compartment

We keep our hoses in a plastic tub that fits nicely in our pass thru compartment , so we wouldn't have any need to do this mod, but if we did, I think I would do as many others here have done and that's to mount the storage tube (s) across the RV bottom side to side.

It would seem easier to place the hose in the tube if the access side of the tube is under the RV and in the open - less handling and less mess that way IMO. Also elimates the need to crawl under the RV to remove and reinstall the tube end cap which just doesn't appeal to me at all

If you are going to store the slinky in the bumper, I suggest getting a pc of pvc guttering and make a slide out drawer to keep the rust from eating the slinky which it will do in a very short time, which most of us have learned the hard way.

I understand the problem I have been trying to figure this out as well. The video that has been posted here is a nice idea but will not work on our Georgetowns. What I have been doing is to store all my sewage items in the compartment right in front of the back wheel. It is small compartment but is a pass through and on the other side that compartment is right next to the door. I discovered an odor to in that compartment and then realized where it was coming from. My plan is to seal the driver side off making a dedicated sewer compartment.

Our GT has a pass thru as the aft compartment. I store the hose in a thin long plastic storage box with a tight lid on it. I also have my gloves and a bottle of hand cleanser in there. It all gets washed down and dried off with a towel before putting away. So far no problems or odors in our first year of ownership.

I have hunted high and low and can not find fence post. Guess we dont have them here in Georgia.

I can get them all day @ our Lowes here in Deep South GA

Yep. Same place, and only place I could find them locally here is Illinois. They are in the outside fencing area.

The 2 closest HDs to me do not carry them constantly, but the ones in Buford and Commerce keep them in stock.

We have a macerator, one of the best things I ever bought had it in our old and now in our new Georgetown no mess no fuss great to use.

I also store mine in the driverside compartment in front of the rear wheels in my Georgeotwn. I just clean my hoses and put them in a white plastic trash bag and put them there.
Easy cheap and no big deal.
I have on bag for my main hose and fitting and 2 more bags for my additional lengths.
I clean my hoses well before I store them. No smells.

I mounted an 8 ft, square 5" fence post to the brackets on the rear jacks. Made the hangers out of strap aluminum. Use pyramid shaped fence post caps for the ends. This keeps the hose outside but readily handy.

AH HA...I knew there had to be reason sweetums (DW) insisted on the 360.

We have a dedicated compartment for the rear black and gray tanks.
I keep ALL the sewer stuff in there, just dump the black, run the tank cleaner, dump the gray ='s clean hose, throw BOTH hoses in and close the door.

No mess and no smell...clean.

Purchased a PVC tube designed for the sewer hose diameter, crafted two steel brackets from strap iron, painted. Hung this near the tank exit side-to-side. Simple- less than an hour installation. Bolts on with Nylock nuts which will not come off-- secure and above fray.

Ease of use - it's at the location in good reach of hands, doesn't smell inside the vehicle, no rust problem. Because the diameter is slightly larger than Rhino hose size, prohibits angles - I attach this when it's partially out, detach upon return.

Bumper used for extension which is rarely used.

I have a 337. Look over the propane tank. There is a compartment that works perfectely
