You have whats called a "Studer" valve which is a one way vent under each cabinet, after a while the flapper dries out and no longer seals properly. Look up air admittance valve, which are fairly cheap to replace.

I suggest that you should dump your gray tank as often as needed, but only dump the black when it is at least 3/4 full. You want to have enough gravity and water pressure to push out the solid and paper. For the two of us, it is about 7-10 days.

Used to have that problem, was cause by my dumping sequence. I leave the grey tank open and dump the black when full. I used to close the grey before dumping the black and would get a horrible smell in the coach. Started leaving the grey tank valve open when dumping black and the problem stopped. Was caused by gas suction when the black tank air relief pipe was under the surface of the blank tank water level. Shouldn't be able to do that but it does.
