Shakedown Cruise Complete

We had our first outing in our 2019 31R5. It was a tremendous success. We travelled "all the way" to French Creek State Park in Pennsylvania . . . which is about 15 minutes from our house. Oddly, we weren't the closest ones. Our across-the street neighbor is from Douglassville which is about 10 minutes from the park. Anyway, we operated all systems while in camp (except city water). I still have the inverter issue I discovered a month ago which will probably remain unresolved until we go back to the dealer at some point but otherwise everything seems like a go.

Before returning it to the storage unit, we took it to the nearby CAT scales to weigh in. (With full load of camping equipment and fuel.) The travel stop was very busy but the weigh in was a snap. So now I have that number. We are well under weight . . no idea how to adjust my tire pressures (if at all) based on that. But at least I know I have plenty of play in weight and what bridges not to go over.

Yep. Name is pending. Right now I refer to it as "The Beast". Bear in mind we came out of a 23' Class C.

Great pics at the campsite.

Beautiful colour scheme.....love the look.

Unfortunately temps are still too cool here to seriously start spring wake up and the campgrounds up here don’t open till May 10.

We tried a few names to call ours....
But it never came when we called it, so we gave up.

Don't use my GT5's name - "40 Cent" - what it cost in gas per mile with insurance,

Nice Georgetown! Saw one looking very similar this weekend at opening day at Rondeau Provincial Park. Shakedown trip for us too! First outing with the new Landmark Fifth Wheel.

Enjoy Camping!
