The original mattress factory can make custom sized mattresses. They can even make a chamfered corner of need be.

We bought a queen size memory foam mattress from Amazon. The brand was Sleep Innovations. We unzipped the mattress cover and used an electric carving knife to cut a few inches off. Zipped the mattress cover back up and it is the exact size we needed for WAY less money. Worked perfect.

We had one made locally, Fort Worth, TX.

I googled "custom made mattress in Ontario"

Check DENVER MATTRESS on line. They build a gabillion RV mattresses of all types and sizes. Come compressed and sealed. You simply remove the bag when on the platform, stand back and let it work its magic overnight! Ready to rock n roll!! Had one in previous fifth wheel for 3 years and LOVED IT

I ordered a custom RV mattress . I can't remember the name of the company but I just googled custom RV mattress and it came up pretty quickly. I bought it last year. It was a twin size and short to fit in where we had made a bed where there used to be a love seat and it cost me about $140. Couldn't have been happier and it's comfy as can be. I could probably come up with the name of the company if you can't find anything, PM me and I'll see if I can find it. Good luck!

A video that is no longer available showed how to inexpensively make your mattress longer when the slide is out. I can only find a picture, not the video. As you can see in the picture, he cut a piece of foam as thick and as wide as the mattress and about 6-8 inches deep. When the slide is out, he pulls the mattress down a bit, puts the piece of cut foam at the headboard area and then pushes the mattress back snug up against the foam. The cut foam will be under the spot where the pillows are and if the same thickness as the mattress, should be very comfortable. When the slides are going to be put in, he just puts the piece of cut foam on top of the bed and pushes the mattress up against the headboard. Hope that makes sense.
