Shut down the ice maker

Georgetown 378, 2012, with the ice maker (Dometic rm1350).

In the user manual it say that if the ice level bail arm is raised up to the full position it should stop the cycle and the production of the ice with this loud noise, very disturbing in the night!

It does'nt work...is it a way to shut off this ice maker ... ?

That's the way to stop the making of ice. If it doesn't work, then it's broken. I would take it back to the dealer and have it fixed or replaced under warranty.

In the compartment in the back of the fridge, there is a plug for the ice-maker. It will have a label on it identifying it. Pull the plug and it will stop. Then contact the dealer and have it replaced.

Thank you to Lostdog and CVan for your help.

I pull the two plugs neither have identification, I waited for 15 minutes, I push up the little bail arm as it was possible without breaking it, I plug back the two and the refrgirator work and the noise dissapear...

I will wait to be back home in Québec before trying the ice maker and I will put it on the list for the things to be done by the dealer before the end of the warranty next july 2012!
