Side Cameras

My right side camera is fogged up, I thought it might of had something on it but I cleaned it and it's the same. Now the left side is starting to do the same thing. Not sure if they have moisture in them or not.
I have a 2009 370XL. Any help would be great. Thanks.

My side cameras do the same thing on our 2010 model. the units are not perfectly sealed. It has to do with temperature and relative humidity at the time. The only thing that can sometimes clear them up faster is to heat the camera using an electric hair dryer.........or they'll clear up on their own given enough time.

I have had the same thing happen to me. Have to question why it is on the right or curb side though. Had the dealer check it out 2x and they could not get it to happen for them. Seems intermintent, not based on weather.

Mine did that, it was glare, not fogging. On a cloudy day they work fine. Sorta makes me crazy.

Dealer tried to put it off as glare too. I don't believe that because it has happened to me heading into the sun with nothing behind to reflect off of.

On our 2011 350 I had one of the cameras replaced under warranty for fogging. Never happened again.

Seems like a common problem. Both of mine fogged up during the fall of the first year of ownership. Dealer fixed under warranty. A poor job of caulking during the manufacturing process. Almost 2 years out and not a problem since.
