Side front windows locks on my GT XL 350

I know there can't be a trick locking these windows. Both the driver and passenger sides have these locks that appear that they should simply push down and put into a locking position. Neither budges and almost bent one giving it too much help. Passenger window tends to slide open while going down the road. Not so much worried about the 7+ foot tall person trying to reach that high and get in.

Any thoughts on how they are suppose to operate?

I am not positive this is the same issue but... on my MH the frame piece where the latch is attached has a tendency to come loose from the window itself. When this happens the latch no longer aligns with the slot in the frame that actually locks the window.

Make sure the frame piece with the latch is all of the way on the window. It is only held in place by friction between the window, gasket and frame piece.

Safe travels.

Sometimes you have to really slam the slide window closed to get the lock and slot lined up.

I guess I don't see the slot for the latch to align to...I will take another look today/night when I get home.

Seem I should see the slot too when I slide the window open. Doesn't make logical sense to me at the moment.

I agree you have to slam the windows closed and then you are able to lock them.
