Slam latch baggage door lock key

Ok first a little back ground story.. My sister in -Law took her motorhome for service.. They had it for two weeks and when they went to load it for a trip they realized all there new serge protectors and dump hoses were stolen.. So since I am taking ours in tomorrow for warrantee work I went to lock all the baggage doors.. I noticed that both of our keys were slightly bent but things were going ok till one broke off before it locked.. I had one more but it is bent slightly but got the rest of the hatches locked.. The key looks fairly generic so how hard is it to get a replacement key??

That was one of the first things I did. I notice how chinchy the keys were, then one broke one off in the lock. I had to take the lock off and was able to get the key out myself. Went to our local lock and key store. Made 5 new keys. Way stronger. cost like a dollar a key, maybe less.

SO the first thing that I did was to spray each of the locks with Silicon - makes the keys have to work less hard Worth a thought wondering why / how the key got bent.
