We have to slam our door to get it shut and noticed the mechanism under the door is putting a dent on the step guard. We currently have it in for repair. I can update once I know what the solution was

Not sure but on our 360 we had a gas shock to control the speed of the door. And it was necessary to slam it in order to get it closed I sense removed the original shocked that was on there which was a 20 pound shock and replaced it with a 5 pound shock and no more need to slam the door I also redid the way they have the gas shock mounted so that I didn't have to have any brackets going between the coach and the doorframeClick image for larger version

Not sure which picture you need. Here are some:

Here is where it was rubbing on top:

Here is where I had to file down the sharp edge on top of the door:

Here is the shorter weaker shock I installed:

Now the door closes with one finger. It also doesn't slam open and actually slows down when it's about to become fully open.

Going to a leaser powered shock like 5 pounds makes the door giggle quite a bit in the wind. The original shock should have been around 15 pounds which still can be closed with very little effort.....20 pounds should work just fine but ideally 17 is optimum I think if you can find one of the right size for your swing.
