Slide In's while Driving-Locked in?

I have a question on a Georgetown 364 Slides... while driving are they locked in? Or does the motor have some sort of locking mechanism. Or are the Cables the only thing that hold them in?
Reason I ask is the 1st time I used my unit, a Cable broke and messed up my floor. I have since gotten it fixed and all seems great, but I'm always a bit worried about this. Rightfully so.
Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Unless you place a lock on the slide, as I understand, No!

Is this an issue. I never placed a locking mechanism on my sides.

I have the cable slides like you and have not had any issues.
4 years, 20,000 mile on some roads so rough I thought the cabinets would fall off (Lousiana)
I do make it a point when moving the slides in and out to stop as soon as they are in position so as not to put too much pressure on those cables.

Mine is a 2012 with almost 80,000 miles. All's well so far.

Agree with cjd10. Too much pressure will pop the cables.
