Slide out won't go in. No power...

The slide out on our Georgetoen 346S will not go in. No power at switch. Is there a circut breaker? If so, where would it be located? The fuse is good so the breaker is the next thing to check out.
Thanks, Bob

Breakers Under Steps?

Not sure if your slide is hydraulic or electric. Either way, if you have batteries under the steps into your coach, remove the cover and look for circuit breakers. Newer FR motorhomes have circuit breakers adjacent to the coach batteries. One tripped on our MH couple of months ago and it shut down our leveling system and three hydraulic slides. Interestingly enough our fourth slide is electric and it continued to work. Good luck,

I see fuses but no circut breakers under the steps. i may be looking and not knowing what I'm looking at, happens all the time . I checked the 15 amp fuse and it was good. The model year is 2001 so it may not have all circut breakers. The slide is hydraulic.

The second is a resettable circuit breaker.

This might be stating the obvious, but is your ignition off, or in the off position (key out to be sure). My slides will not function if the ignition key is in any position but off.

Key is on the hook.
The hyd pump that runs both the slide and the leveling system runs the leveling system OK, just the slide won't work.
I manualy pumped the slide in. The slide cover holds a bunch of water, don't ask .

Bob:

When you figure out the problem, please let us know. also, how did you get the slide in? I have a 2005 and have no clue what to do if that happens to me.

Thanks. Go bears

The problem was the fuse panel under the steps. Seems like a bad place to put fuses but thats where most motorhomes have them. Had to replace part of the fuse panel (the top half worked). The tech just added a new panel next to the old one and brought the 12v over to it, a few new fuses and the slide works again. The tech said water must have gotten in the panel and coroded the insides.
