Slide toppers loose

One of my slide toppers has sagged a bit.........nothing critical, but the other two are tighter.

Is the adjustment a DIY or for professionals?

Are there any step by step instructions if it is DIY?

Thanks all.

Need to know more about your awning. Brand and model # would be needed to answer your question.

The toppers are factory provided OEM. The main awning is Dometic brand. No brand marking for toppers. Anyone else with Georgetown slide toppers know?

I don't know, but I suggest checking out the rvgeeks.com, I know they have a video how to replace the slide toppers, and I though I remember them talking about tightening them near the end.....
You searched for Slide topper - TheRVgeeks

We had some damage on one of ours (scraped something when closed) so were looking into replacements.

Good luck!

I would bet on them being Dometic, find a copy of the manual it will tell you how to adjust them.

Not that hard to tighten them, just make sure you tighten BOTH ends as there are torsion springs at both ends.
