Sorry, I am not sure what is wrong with video. Anyway, 270 has cable system with electric motor. Here is the picture of the gearbox. As you can see in the close up picture, the large metal gear has a couple of teeth missing.
Ok, so I had a local on site repair guy come by and he uncovered the motor and gear box under the valence above the slide. See picture. Does anyone know where/how I can manually open the slide so we can get to it! Right now it's a long narrow reach and won't be able to easily replace the gear box, assuming we can find one.

You can turn the motor manually by connecting a square drive bit at the end of the motor and turn it with drill. At the end of the motor (left side of motor in your picture), you will find a small round sticker in the center. If you remove the sticker you will see where the square drive bit can be connected. a square drive bit that is attached to flexible rod should come with your RV. Mine did not have it.
But if you have a gearbox problem, the manually turning motor would not work.
I was able push mine out by pushing both end of the slide from inside while someone is holding the switch. It took some efforts but it was not that hard. The gear will catch as you push then it will move a few inches - then repeat this for several times. - so you will three people. I push the front of the slide, my wife push the rear of the slide. My daughter was pushing the switch. took about 2 minutes
Sorry to hear, I remember it was hardest to get it start moving. took a few try. Once it is start moving we continued to push. Perhaps more people would be needed, someone can push the center- pushing seat back of the dinnet next to the fridge?
It is not impossible but it would be extremely difficult to replace the gearbox with slide in position.
Update: I got an appointment at a local CW and will be getting the motor and gear box replaced. Total looks to be about $700. Waiting for the parts to come in now.
