You should be able to put the slide in wry a crank and then when you get home you can fix it and the little red lights be Next to the fuse and the lights will tell you which one is out

Slideout

Did you check the circuit breaker on the frame near the batteries? It's a small box about the size of a matchbook; there's a little lever that pops out of the bottom when the circuit is tripped. I had the same thing happen; mine was painted black (same color as the frame) and it was hard to locate. When the circuit blows it usually takes out the fuse also. Best way to prevent this is to make sure you engine is running when you put down the jacks. (it seems that the jacks and slideout are on the same circuit.

think your right, their a small black box with two large studs attached to it with large red wires at one end and black wire. Put a spanner acorss the two studs and the slide came in. someone said the are breaker that can overheat when you put the slide button on they are not fuses but breaker. need to get a new breaker think it called heat breaker.
the breaker is 1-1/2 long by 1inch wide, will try and take a picture next week?

anyone know were i can get these breakers from. im in the uk?

Dont' touch that dial!!!

Don't quote me on this, but...........for possibly some kind of safety aspect, I don't think the slides will operate if the engine is running.

Think of what could happen if, while you're driving down the road, a smaller juvenile version of yourself walking around the hallway, were to start pushing the slide buttons.

Then think about your somewhat restricted visibility next time you look into the side mirror for a lane change...........and the lane isn't there, but a motorhome is.....and it looks a lot like yours.

You are correct, you can not operate your slides when enigne is running

There is a safety feature that locks your slides when the engine is on

I think the best thing to do is to stay plugged into shore power until all the slides are in. I do that and have had no problems.

I am a pilot and pilots use check lists...make yourself a check list for departure...then you won't forget to do anything and it will always be done in sequence. Believe me it pays off. It will save you from pulling a power post with you out of the campground one day. Check lists work.

Should the need arise, gain access to the hydraulic pump for the slides, you can then connect booster cables from your car to the pump and close your slides. My 2007 359TS allows for this, and I have used it in an emergency.

Slides

Chassis engine off
Generator on to support power loss while using the slides
Low battery is not good for the pump
