Smelly toilet

I've been having an issue lately of my toilet being rank! I thought it was just me (and my novice abilities) until I read this thread below. I called up Dometic and BOOM! They're sending me a new toilet. I couldn't find the serial number on my toilet however she still said she'll overnight me one. Looks like I'm going to learn and experience how to replace a toilet on an RV! For those of you with a 351 (Ours is a 2013, I'd look into this!)

Just make sure you turn the water supply off (city &/or pump)before removing the toilet. Smear some Vicks under your nose before also.

LOL... Nice Turbs I guess the reason I put it under the Georgetown section, is that my 351 came with the Dometic 300 toilet. This is the one that has the known issue.

Changing the toilet is easy. 2 bolts and the threaded water inlet. Just throw down some towels by the water inlet to catch the residual from going everywhere.

Our 2014 351 had a smelly toilet on very first trip. Replaced under warranty. It had a crack on the under side allowing smelly venting. Tech who replaced it wasn't happy when done as it got fluids trapped in the base through cracks. He got it all over him. So be careful!👍
