Sofa sleeper replacement

We recently purchased a 2007 Georgetown and want to replace the sofa sleeper that sits on our slide out. We have been to many stores and even went to Forest River in Elkhart, IN and cannot find anything that will work. The person we spoke to there said he could order us one, but after sending him our info, we haven't heard back from him. We bought a sofa from a surplus store, but had to return it because when the sofa bed was out, it didn't touch the floor. Why is it so difficult to find the right sofa?

Try contacting Williamsburg Furniture in Indiana. They make the sofas for FR.

Furniture replacement

Really easy...the chair backs come off...so a total of 5 pieces...and probably 10 minutes from store to coach.
When purchasing just make sure the legs sit on the slide out.
We purchases at Sofa Mart afterlooking at LaZBoy & many other stores

Took it apart....the back comes off
You can access floor screws when you remove the storage drawer
Had to remove the grab bar from the door...

We have a 2008 Georgetown GTX that also had wearing issues with the captains chairs that were made by The Williamsburg folks. Our black faux leather sofa was covered with a sofa cover and it looks brand new. Williamsburg folks said they could sell me new covers for $100 + each but they would be the same faux leather. We managed to get a super deal on captains chairs that were taken out of an RV for whatever reason, maybe upgrade as they are brand stinking new. This time I will cover them and hopefully they will last more than a year before they show wear.
