Unhappy Sold the good old Georgetown.

After owning our gtown We traded it in on a new Montana 5th wheel, and bought a new Ford 350 HD diesel. the gtown went because it needed new roof again, The 3rd roof in 4 yrs. We thank all Frogs on line and at rally. Learned lots of good info. Had a good time at the rally in Branson last year. Sorry to be one less frog in the pond. Ta Ta. Mr & Mrs martin 37.

i had a Montana 5er, towed by a Ford 350 dually diesel, crew cab, extended bed, i loved it, it towed my 39 ft montana like it wasn't even there. I had to goo to a motorhome because of disabilities. You will love the Montana, DW misses all the space.

I too had a big Montana and F350. Loved the Montana, not so much for the F350.

What year and model was your Gtown? My 2010 went back to factory for new roof. Am I in for more of the same?

Ours is an '02 with 18,000 miles from new. We're the 2nd owners. It's now at a consignment dealer because we can't afford the lifestyle any more.

MattM. martin73 here. We had a 2010 Gtown 337 ds. Bought byacouple in Ok. They had to send it back to factory in 2011. They traded it while it was at the factory. (about 10,000 mi) We bought it in 2011 when it came back from the factory. We felt we were ok with a new roof. 2014 we took a trip to Michigan, the roads ( 70, and 80 & 90 ) were so bad could only go 40 & 50 mph allthe way . At home we noticed a slight mould on front ceiling. Had our Mech. look at it, He said the roof had pulled away all the way around the edges. He said poss 15 to 20 thousand tofix. ( pull roof and insulation and ceiling out and replace it.) That is why it is gone...

Thank you. My concern for my 2010 Gtown 378 is the same, that the roof will continue to be a problem. Did Forest River buy it back? If not, How bad were you upside down on the sale? Matt

Matt We traded it in on a 2015 Montana. Lost about 25.000. Also had to buy a truck.
